  • Strategic insights:
  • Centrally coordinate insight generation efforts across Roche India – own the insighting framework including design (capturing the need for insighting at various levels e.g. cluster, brand, SoF, etc.) and implementation through various platforms (e.g. DINC, insighting chapter, launch squads, etc.)
  • Important role in the insights chapter – drive key initiatives, conceptualize & contribute to special projects, help shape & implement the new Ways of Working within the chapter
  • Help co-create / plan projects aimed at informing hypothesis/approaches for various teams – DINC, medical, access, commercial
  • State-specific Insighting:
  • Support state cluster teams in the insighting process to help teams clearly define and address key insighting hurdles (commercial, medical, access)
  • Build capacity of state cluster teams in conducting their own insighting process over time
  • Leverage, engage & guide insighting partners in the cluster teams in tandem with the Partner, Market Intelligence & Analytics
  • Digital Nerve Centre:
  • Core member of the DINC team, working together with DINC lead & IT team to develop and continually enhance the system
  • Help co-create the DINC platform through business understanding – conceptualize use cases, shortlist suitable data sources, identify analogues / proxy parameters based on business context, etc. resulting in building DINC as an engine for insight generation, data-driven decision-making & governance
  • Support DINC lead in development & deployment of successive DINC upgrades
  • Use own understanding of business rationale behind various DINC modules to help the IT team operationalize them
  • Analytics:
  • Help conceptualize key SFE initiatives (e.g. customer segmentation & targeting, target setting, incentive planning, etc.) and implement them together with Partner, Execution Excellence

Liaise with customer-facing teams (e.g. Project Management Partners in the clusters) and senior management to identify requirements for analytics from SFE & governance perspective * Coordinate within strategy team to provide analytics support (e.g. churn out periodic data analytics – dashboards, etc. for decision-making, develop call planning & effectiveness measurement, etc.)

  • Identify opportunities for insight generation in SFE / analytics
  • Organizational support:
  • Serve as an internal consultant for cluster / functional teams, and as an advisor to senior leadership, where needed, on matters needing strategic analysis / intervention

Eligibility Criteria (Qualification and Experience)

  • Business qualification e.g. MBA desirable, top-tier B-schools preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience in strategy consulting, or in a corporate strategy function
  • Exposure to healthcare & lifesciences in India desirable; pharma preferred
  • Fluency in English essential
