As an ED in the DAT team you will be responsible to provide oversight, coaching and mentoring to a team that supports a variety of functions that support the Data Strategy, Analytics, Salesforce and Custom research for the Commercial Banking Business. Our work is a blend of strategy, technology, data analysis, and execution with a key focus on data-driven insights.

We seek candidates with a unique blend of leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills. In addition to functional responsibilities, the lead is expected to act as a key engagement point with location teams and lead a highly motivated team for both qualitative and quantitative resources.

In this role, you will be expected to apply your technology, data and research skills in order to make important contributions across a diverse array of projects. The role will require in-depth data manipulation, exploration, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

Partner with onshore teams on broader objectives and aligning effort towards achieving them

Guide the teams functionally and technically on enhancing the quality, visualization and performance of dashboards in Qliksense environment

Ensure collaboration between dashboard leads and developers across various functional teams leading to optimal utilization of resources and adoption of best practices

Contributing to and enhancing data models and feature stores

Support data ops in establishing procedures and process on data consumption & validation to ensure accuracy of downstream reporting and resolution of potential issues

Strengthen framework for intake, quality governance and distribution of 3rd party data to a variety of platforms

Guide custom research team in efforts towards better prospecting, country and market strategies

The lead would need to be hand-on, develop in-depth subject matter expertise with the tasks described, as well as guide the junior resources on the team with functional nuances

Responsible for Business Development Apply business / product / process understanding to identify opportunities to build depth in the function, move up the value chain from a complexity standpoint and work towards end to end ownership of appropriate tasks

Ensure consistency and process efficiencies across the team, and identify opportunities for process improvements; Analyze existing capabilities and identify priority gaps

Lead and be the catalyst for change as requirements and priorities shift as we progress from planning to execution

Encourage and drive collaboration with related functions/groups supporting this business locally and globally to drive integration

Fostering a data-driven, innovative culture

Qualifications:

MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or other quantitative-focused field preferred

Experience in an analytics role, financial services preferred

Experience using computer languages to manipulate and analyze large datasets

Experience in transformation projects around data strategy desired

Experience in business intelligence domain, especially around dashboard deployment

Experience in salesforce.com roll out

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills

Experienced people manager adapt at working in matrix organization and managing dynamic high performance teams

Skills:
